ABOUT
People from all walks of life rely on statistics and statistical analysis to make better decisions.
Editor
I am keenly aware of how loved and valued Significance is to its readers around the world. It’s an honour and a pleasure to be its latest editor.
Statistics is the closest we humans can get to the truth about ourselves - and our world.
In this era of fake news and misinformation, communicating high quality and engaging statistical stories to the general public is more important than ever. Indeed, the urge to set the record straight seems to fuel the writers of so many of the articles we publish.
As editor I provide editorial leadership for and manage the publication of Significance, both online and in print. I am not a statistician myself, so enjoy the support of a brilliant editorial board whose members are all established and respected in the statistics and data science community.
If you have enjoyed a story on this website, you’ll definitely enjoy the full Significance experience even more: subscribe today.
